Monarch's Vision
We endeavor to eliminate barriers faced by the LGBTQ+ community in accessing quality mental health services. We aim to usher this marginalized people towards center stage by addressing disparities faced in the medical community and society at large.
The Monarch symbol was been adopted as the symbol for people affected by mental illness due to the cocoon like condition of the caterpillar which can represent the depressed, isolated and withdrawn feelings commonly shared by people whose lives are affected by mental illness; however just as the majestic butterfly emerges from the cocoon rebirthed, depression can serve as a period of hibernation, reflection and renewal preceding a psychological rebirthing in order to realize your greatest potential.
At Monarch, our goal is to restore the natural order of things by acknowledging the interconnectedness of Mind, Body and Spirit which must be in equilibrium to achieve homeostasis. Empowering a people as advocates in their pursuit of self determination is the global vision of Monarch; If inclined, we would be honored to facilitate your journey towards physiologic balance, healing justice and holistic wellness!

My Story
Greetings, I am Reign Alexander Ewing, I am looking forward to connecting with you on this journey towards healing and abundant life. AFAB, I identify as Non-Binary/Transmasculine; my pronouns are He/Him/They/Them.
I am a Non-Conformist in the truest sense. I reject 'rules of society' and any school of thought whose goal is to govern who I am or should be, any inference, interference or attempt to influence my journey towards self dertermination is held in disregard.
I embrace individuality and the expression thereof. To date, no one has mastered this thing called life. From a historical, as well as current perspective, decision makers have failed in all things regarding humanity. I am a highly capable and competent being, committed to navigating my journey according to MY ideals of how things should be and be done, even if it means creating my own village/town/society. In my mind I was put here alone, WITH a compass and WITHOUT a predetermined destination; therefore, it's up to me to dictate my path, a task I passionately anticipate and embrace. I invite others to join me along this journey as the Universe guides me, we may coexist beautifully, however, my journey continues to evolve in & of its own trajectory with total awareness that all things are for a reason or season, never forever. I embrace change, I live life for & with expectation of change, without which I would wither, ideals and potential unrealized, a live unlived, a legacy unfulfilled!
I am a Radical Idealist, will you live according to someone else's vision or join me in creating a legacy of your own?
LGBTQIA2S+
LGBTQ+ individuals face health disparities linked to stigma and discrimination. These disparities are exacerbated when people are unable to access care or are uncomfortable asking providers for the treatment they need. Rates of mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and suicide are higher among LGBTQ populations, but culturally competent health care can make a difference.
With the right tools and training, providers and community partners can build more inclusive environments for LGBTQ+ individuals inside and outside the doctor’s office.
We adhere to the World Professional Orgajnization on Transgender Health's (WPATH) guidelines 'to ensure the highest standard of care for transgender and gender diverse people with safe and effective pathways to achieve lasting personal comfort with their gendered selves, and to maximize their overall health, psychological well-being, and self-fulfillment.'
Trauma Informed Care
Trauma Informed Quality Care is birthed from a deep understanding of the Neurobiology of Trauma.
We are excited to partner with GrowUrPotential, a healing justice organization committed to trasforming mental health for marginalized folx as well.
We offers tools, guidance, medication, education and support in the form of mentorship as many of us also have the benefit of lived experience. Learning how to recognize and navigate the 6Fs of the fear circuitry (Fight, Flight, Freeze, Fawn, Flood, Fatigue) will have a tremendously liberating impact not only on your life but also the lives of those who care about you.
MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT (MAT) for OPIOID AND ALCOHOL USE DISORDER: Suboxone, Sublocade monthly injection, Vivitrol monthly injection
Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is the use of medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. Medications used in MAT are approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and MAT programs are clinically driven and tailored to meet each patient’s needs.
Research shows that a combination of medication and therapy can successfully treat these disorders, and for some people struggling with addiction, MAT can help sustain recovery. MAT is also used to prevent or reduce opioid overdose.
Learn about many of the substance use disorders that MAT is designed to address.
MAT is primarily used for the treatment of addiction to opioids such as heroin and prescription pain relievers that contain opiates. The prescribed medication operates to normalize brain chemistry, block the euphoric effects of alcohol and opioids, relieve physiological cravings, and normalize body functions without the negative and euphoric effects of the substance used.
